The PMI Melbourne Chapter offers a variety of courses based on the PMBOK to help people prepare for their PMI Credential examinations and to enhance their project management skills, knowledge and performance.
PMI Credentials:
We offer a range of PMBOK training courses to help candidates prepare for their PMI examinations for the credentials below. Detailed information about each credential is on the linked pages.
Our PMI training courses are pre-approved to provide the training hours and content needed for you to be eligible for the credential examinations. The PMI Melbourne Chapter is not involved in the administering of any PMI credential examination. All of the PMI credential examinations are administered by PMI HQ staff. You book and pay via the international web site at www.pmi.org. PMI’s service delivery partner, Thomson Prometric manages the examination delivery and has an examination facility here in Melbourne.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
PMP exam prep courses are offered in a number of formats throughout the year to suit your needs. Options include weekend courses spread over a series of Saturdays, weekday courses and intensive courses. All courses include comprehensive training materials, an exam focus and assistance with booking and passing your exam.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
CAPM exam prep courses are offered in a number of formats throughout the year to suit your needs. Options include weekend courses spread over a series of Saturdays and intensive courses. All courses include comprehensive training materials, an exam focus and assistance with booking and passing your exam.
Other PMI Credentials
PMI have developed a range of new credentials including PgMP, PMI-SP and PMI-RMP. We are reviewing our options for offering courses for these credentials in the future.
Short Courses and Workshops:
We are a leading provider of project management short courses in the Melbourne area. Each course focuses on developing a specific skill; courses include scheduling, risk, earned value, business analysis, and others. Each course earns PDUs for eligible credential holders to assist with their Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR).
Course durations vary between one and two days, some are on weekends others on business days. The range of courses we offer are updated regularly in line with market requirements.
