Ignacio Inchausti
Ignacio has over 20 years experience in working with telecommunications, banking and finance, state government and retail clients. The last 16+ years have involved project delivery, whether as team leader, project manager or program manager. He as worked mostly in implementing, integrating or developing IT systems or their components. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and MSP Practitioner, Ignacio is a career Program and Project Manager whose membership of the PMI Melbourne Chapter includes over five years as Chapter Board Member. His responsibilities have included Corporate Relations, Marketing and more recently liaison with the Education Sector to engage in initiatives to support Project Management practitioner education.
Since 2007, Ignacio has also dedicated time and energy to the support, delivery and further development and growth of education available to project managers and to professionals with interests in pursuing project management education and training. He is a sessional lecturer and online facilitator of project management subjects at Swinburne University, and is currently serving on the Advisory Committee at the School of Property, Construction and Project Management, RMIT. He convinced the School to have the Doctorate in Project Management and Masters in Project Management undergo assessment by PMI’s Global Accreditation Centre (GAC); both programs were granted accreditation.
