About Outreach

Outreach is an initiative with organisations in the not-for-profit and education sectors to address project management needs of our existing community and understand the value of engaging youths in project management.

Engagement with not-for-profits

The Outreach team of volunteers works closely with not-for-profits in collaboration with local Councils to deliver workshops designed to build students’ ability to navigate around employment and life responsibilities, and to help them build their independence. Students are provided with an understanding of how project management skills can be applied in all aspects of life, both professionally and personally.

Engagement with education sectors

The Outreach team of volunteers also collaborates with universities and schools to deliver university lectures in project management, provide mentoring to Year 8 students and provide support to students in school competitions and assigned projects.
